Default Blackout

Hello!

I had a question regarding Blackout. Does it work on bosses, especially those with their own unique skills (Shiro, Abbadon, Glint, Urgoz, Kanaxai, Dhuum, etc.)?

Thanks!

Don't think Abbadon will be affected but I assume it works on the rest, that said I havn't actually ever felt the need to use the skill.

It disables skills... Why wouldn't it affect Monster Skills?

I assumed it'd work, but I know bosses have conditions and hexes expire quicker and whatnot, just didn't know if it affected something like this too.

Any boss can technically be blacked-out, however, it is a property of monster skills to have immunity to disables (and for that matter, lengthening of recharge times). Therefore, when you face someone such as Abbadon or Shiro (who use all monster skills) disables and recharge increasing skills (Blackout, complicate, etc.) will essentially do nothing (the interrupt effect of complicate, diversion, etc. will most likely still work).

Hope that helps

Not all monster skills are immune to disable. I know that some regular enemies can be and I'm guessing that holds true for most. For the record, I've only tested Diversion to work against Giant Stomp and NOT to work against anything Mallyx has. I think its specifically bosses, and possibly only special bosses like Mallyx/Kanaxai/Dhuum/Abaddon that can't be disabled. It could also be skill-specific instead of enemy-specific, in which case good f**king luck with testing every monster skill . Of course, outside of Mallyx/Dhuum there isn't really any monster skills that would be worth disabling in PvE since simply killing them is the easy way to disable anything, so its a moot point unless you are trying to do something cute.
